Bahraini public prosecutor orders elections probe panel's formation

The Public Prosecution in its capacity as a department of the Judiciary undertakes significant duties so as to ensure the accomplishment of justice and consolidation of its foundations and pillars.
The Public Prosecutor Dr. Ali bin Fadhl Al-Buainian has duly issued a resolution regarding the appointment of a number of prosecution officers to form an investigation and action panel vested with jurisdiction to investigate all criminal acts - if any - committed in breach of the provisions of the laws which govern the process of parliamentary and municipal elections in order to achieve prompt justice and to give everyone their eligible right. The ad hoc committee's tenure shall end by the end of the entire election process and final announcement of election results.
