
Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continued back-up to the Palestinian cause, in support of the brotherly Palestinian people to help them regain their legitimate rights, and also in absolute rejection of Israel’s incessant violations on the occupied territories.
The Minister’s remarks came as he met in his office today Azzam Najeeb Al-Ahmed, the Representative of the Palestinian President and member of Fatah Central Committee, currently on an official visit to Bahrain.
Reviewing the outstanding Bahraini- Palestinian relations, the Minister took pride in these close ties and discussed with his guest ways of further bolstering them at all levels.
For his part, Al-Ahmad valued the Kingdom of Bahrain’s supportive stances towards the Palestinian cause and lauded the continuous support that the Kingdom of Bahrain – leadership and people – offer to the Palestinian people in all fields, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
The meeting also touched on the latest developments relating to the Palestinian State and its cause, including the peace process.
