
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Nasser Judeh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness emphasised the shared commitment of both countries to continue to expand coordination and collaboration across many areas. His Royal Highness went on to highlight the significant role that Jordan has played in advancing regional peace which continues to receive wide international support.
His Royal Highness further added that enhancing all levels of strategic cooperation, to include increasing bilateral cooperation with partners across the Arab world, will help to further support Jordan’s role in advancing efforts to achieve regional security and stability.
His Royal Highness then stressed Bahrain’s firm commitment to regional and international efforts in the pursuit of a sustainable regional peace. In this regard, His Royal Highness emphasised that Bahrain remains fully committed to countering all forms of terrorism and violent extremism to ensure lasting stability across the Middle East.
For his side, Mr. Judeh expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and thanked him for his continued efforts in further bolstering bilateral ties between the two countries, as well as coordination on complex regional and international affairs. His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, also attended the meeting.
