Bahraini crown prince highlights consensus-based solutions

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening visited the majlises of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa in Riffa, Sadiq Al Baharna in Saar, Abdulhamid Abdul Jabbar Al Kooheji in Jasra and Khalid Rashid Al Zayani in Riffa.
During his visits, His Royal Highness emphasised consensus-based and sustainable solutions that act in the interests of all. He highlighted that this commitment is underpinned by the principles laid down by His Majesty King Hamad.
His Royal Highness further affirmed that while the Kingdom is committed to strengthening ties with key allies and neighbouring countries, its domestic affairs remain part of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and national interests.
His Royal Highness highlighted the significant development and progress under His Majesty King Hamad’s development programme. He highlighted, in particular, how His Majesty’s programme has continued to advance the role of institutions and bolstered various sectors in the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness also highlighted the role of His Majesty’s programme in reinforcing national unity and ensuring the continuity of reform and development. He stressed varied regional events that serve to demonstrate the importance of reinforcing national values and unity among Bahrain’s society.
In this regard, His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of various social engagements conducted by His Majesty, during the holy month of Ramadan, with a broad range of Bahrain’s society, noting that His Majesty’s recent directives demonstrate the close bond of the society, which will prevent any developments and challenges from deterring the Kingdom’s pursuit for long term stability, reform and development.
His Royal Highness went on to highlight the emphasis of His Majesty King Hamad on maintaining the stability and security of Bahrain and all its people to ensure its status in the region, which is underpinned by principles of coexistence, unity and tolerance.
His Royal Highness further affirmed that reform and development will continue within the framework of law, which reinforces constitutional rights. He added that participating in the upcoming parliamentary elections is protected by these rights, and will help expand contributions to the Kingdom’s political development.
His Royal Highness then extended his best wishes to the people of Bahrain on the holy month of Ramadan, and emphasised the importance of events during the holy month in bringing Bahrain’s people together and promoting humanitarian work. He continued to highlight that prioritising humanitarian work forms an important part of Ramadan’s traditions and Bahraini values.
His Royal Highness concluded by praising the role of Ramadan majlises in creating an environment conducive for social engagements and reinforcing values of unity among Bahrain’s society.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also accompanied His Royal Highness during his visits to the majlises this evening.
