
Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa paid today an inspection visit to a BDF unit.
He was briefed on the unit's development plans, and informed closely about its preparedness.
He stressed BDF's resolve to go ahead with its military plans to ensure the force keeps abreast of the giant strides made in various military fields by supporting and supplying it with cutting-edge combat systems as well as grooming its staff and training them on modern technologies, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the BDF Supreme Commander.
He thanked the BDF personnel for their dedication and sense of responsibility in carrying out their duties perfectly.
He also lauded their combat readiness and allegiance, urging them to exert more efforts in serving Bahrain and its leadership.
Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi and Director of Planning, Organisation and Technology Major-General Yussef Ahmed Malallah were present.
