Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman
Manama - BNA

Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa urged citizens to turn out massively for the next parliamentary elections, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Speaking at a meeting with citizens from the Capital Governorate at his weekly Majlis, he called on the Bahraini people to respond to the royal call and exercise their constitutional right by taking part in the elections, being a national duty to support the democratic and reform march.
He also praised the meeting of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa with Bahraini dignitaries and renowned figures to discuss with them the stage reached in the National Dialogue's political chapter.
He said the meeting reflected democratic practice and popular participation in tackling political issues. He added Bahrain will undergo a crucial phase when holding the next parliamentary elections by bringing the political chapter of the National Dialogue under the dome of the National Assembly.
He underscored the paramount importance of the Representatives Council in the history of Bahrain, being a milestone in the reform and development march launched and spearheaded by HM the King.
