Bahrain recalls its Ambassador from Syria for consultation

Bahrain Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on Monday announced that his country has decided to recall its ambassador to Syria for consultation, in light of the poor security situation there. Bahrain News Agency (BNA) quoted sheikh khalid as saying that they decided to recall its ambassador from Damascus for consultation, emphasizing the importance of adopting wisdom in such affairs. He said the move followed similar steps taken by neighbouring countries such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait .
