Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi
Manama - Arab Today

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will arrive in Bahrain tomorrow to hold talks with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the outstanding relations between the two brotherly countries.

Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Suha Ebrahim Rifaat Al-Far hailed the visit which, she said, reflects deep-rooted brotherly relations binding the two countries.

In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), she paid tribute to HM King Hamad and President el-Sisi, hailing their keenness on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding economic cooperation amid volatile regional landscape. “President el-Sisi’s visit will represent an opportunity to meet businessmen from both sides and explore Bahrain’s development strides, particularly the Kingdom’s Vision”, she said.

She underscored the political significance of the visit which, she said, affirms the Egyptian influential presence in supporting the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. “Solid relations between the two countries are well beyond the phase of joint cooperation, attaining the level of complementary ties in all fields”, she said, reiterating Egypt’s keenness on Bahrain’s unity and stability.
