
The Governor of the Capital Governorate Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa said that the Governorate has compiled a report on the requirements of the Capital inhabitants.
The report cites harbours, Manama suq and housing construction development projects stressing the Governorate's keenness on developing services.
The Governor chaired the coordination meeting emphasising that efficient cooperation between the Governorate and service-related departments accomplishes the benefits and aspirations of citizens which reflects the efforts of the Coordination Council.
Shaikh Hisham also discussed a report related to the requirements of the Capital Governorate for community centres. The report indicates that 20,000 share the same community centre. The Capital Governorate with a population of 66,679 hence are in need of three community centres to provide social assistance, guidance and orientation to all the various segments of the community.
The Governor reviewed the Ministry of Health's plan which includes the needs of citizens in terms of the provision of a specialized maternity and dentistry units, modernization and upgrading of equipment in Hoora Health Centre.
