Bahrain attends GCC meeting

Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Minister Undersecretary for Municipalities Affairs Dr. Nabeel Mohammed Abulfateh has today attended the 28th meeting of the GCC senior municipal officials.
Addressing the session, he stressed the crucial role of the committee in ensuring landmark achievements which are in line with the GCC leaders’ to achieve economic and social complementarity.
The delegations discussed key issues relating to joint municipal cooperation, particularly urban and strategic planning and comprehensive development.
He stressed the importance of the issues featuring on meeting agenda which would push the march of GCC municipal cooperation forward.
He underlined the crucial importance of modern municipal work as the cornerstone of sustainable urban development and key pillar of citizens’ welfare.
