African Union (AU) Special Envoy for Libya Deleita Mohamed Deleita called Sunday in Algiers for the establishment of a dialogue in Libya in order to put an end to the conflict and achieve peace in this country.
"I call for the establishment of a dialogue in order to make peace and put an end to the conflict in Libya," said Deleita at the end of an interview granted to him by Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra.
He added that he was in Algeria to hold consultations, have Lamamra's view and Algeria's position as part of a tour to Libya's neighbouring countries.
"Algeria will chair the committee in charge of security and military affairs and which is the most important committee, dealing particularly with the border issues. It is for this matter that I came," he underlined.
The Foreign Affairs ministers of Libya's neighbouring States held a meeting, last week in Hammamet (Tunisia), at the end of which they agreed to implement two commissions, including a military and security one chaired by Algeria and the other, political, chaired by Egypt as part of the support to Libya to help it to overcome the current crisis.
