Head of Al-Ashraf Syndicate Mahmoud el-Sherif has slammed a terrorist act that took place Thursday near el-Sayed el-Badawi shrine in the Nile Delta city of Tanta.
Eleven people were wounded when two locally-made explosive charges went off near the el-Sayed el-Badawi Mosque in Tanta.
“This terrorist act will not terrorize Egyptians,” Sherif said in a statement on Friday.
"The will and determination of Egyptians will not be undermined by such acts," he said.
The Ashraf are decedents of Prophet Muhammad and his immediate family in Egypt.
