
Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Arabi said that he talked with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on setting a new date for a visit of an Arab ministerial delegation to Gaza after putting it off.
The visit was due on Thursday, Arabi said in statements Tuesday.
On the Israeli calls to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque, Arabi asserted that the AL is totally against this issue.
The AL has no relations with Israel and will not talk with Israeli officials, he said.
Concerning the turmoil in Libya, Arabi warned from the dangerous situation there and voiced readiness to have contacts with the conflicting parties.
Speaking about his recent visit to Iraq, Arabi said that he discussed with officials there several important issues especially means to combat terrorism and face Daesh threats
