
President of the Arab Parliament and Speaker of Kuwait's National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem on Wednesday stressed the importance of international efforts to end the suffering of Palestinian people and the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.
Upon arrival here, Al-Ghanem told KUNA that he will be heading an emergency meeting by the Arab Parliament tomorrow to tackle the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.
"As soon as we got here we held preliminary meetings with other Arab Speakers and came up with a realistic final communique that bears responsibility and puts pressure on governments to immediately take an international action and contribute into ending the suffering of Palestinian people, including ending Israeli aggression on Palestinian people," Al-Ghanem added.
The Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker noted that he will also convene tomorrow with Egyptian President Abdulfatah Al-Sisi, and he will convey agreed upon views by Arab Speakers.
