
Arab League envoy for humanitarian relief Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa al-Thani is due to arrive here Saturday on a five-day visit to open several projects that were implemented by the pan-Arab body in Darfur states.
In press statements Wednesday, AL envoy to Sudan Ambassador Salah Halima said that the AL secretary general's envoy for humanitarian relief will open several development and services, which are implemented by the AL as part of efforts to reconstruct and develop Darfur states.
He also pointed out to the AL's role in achieving development and stability in Darfur.
He, meanwhile, said that Sheikha Hessa will hold meetings with several Sudanese officials on the various political, humanitarian and developmental spheres.
