The Arab League on Monday has called on for "urgent actions" in the Gaza Strip, few hours ahead of a ministerial meeting in Cairo to discuss the situation in the Palestinian territory, where 172 Palestinians were killed in seven days of Israeli bloody aggression.
Early on Monday, Israel has launched new air strikes and artillery fires on Gaza.
Since the launch of the Israeli "Protective Edge" operation against Gaza, the airstrikes claimed the lives of at least 172 Palestinians, and injured 1,130 others, most of them civilians.
It is the bloodiest aggression since Israel's aggression of November 2012, which killed 177 Gazans.
