
Ambassador Abdul-Mahmoud Abdul-Haleem on Thursday delivered his credentials to the Secretary General of the Arab League, Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi, as the Permanent Envoy of the Republic of Sudan at the Arab League .
Ambassador Abdul-Mahmoud said in a press statement after the meeting that he deliberated with Dr. Nabil about the meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers, scheduled to be held in the first week of next September.
He said that he briefed the Secretary General on latest developments in Sudan and exchanged views with him over current Arab situations, indicating that the Arab League Secretary General has commended the role being played by Sudan within framework of Arab League, besides Sudan role for realizing the Arab food security.
