Manama - Arab Today

Participants in the meeting of the Permanent Bureau of Arab Lawyers Union (ALU), held in the kingdom under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, have praised the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to them.
They also called for honouring Huda Rashid Al Mehzaa, the President of the Bahrain Bar Association (BBA), the organisers of the meeting, for being the first Arab women to hold such a position.
ALU President and Head of Egypt’s Lawyers' Syndicate Sameh Ashour, lauded Bahrain’s support to Egypt’s anti-terror efforts.
He lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s constant support to Egypt.
The paticipants in the meeting stressed that the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is an integral part of the security of the Arab Nation.
They called upon ALU to launch initiatives to address security threats and protect Arab interests.
