AP chief renews support for Bahrain in war on suicide

Arab Parliament (AP) Speaker Mashaal al Salmi condemned on Tuesday the attack on a Bahraini rehabilitation center.

In a statement on Tuesday, Salmi stressed that Arab people stand by Bahrain in its war against terrorism.

He blamed Iran for being behind the terrorist actions that endanger security and stability not only in Bahrain but also in the Arab region, calling on the international community to stand up to the Iranian regime and its sectarian policies. 

Salmi expressed confidence that Bahraini security and judicial bodies will bring those responsible to justice.

A group of armed terrorists attacked the rehabilitation center on Sunday, causing the death of a policeman and the escape of inmates convicted with terrorist crimes.
