
Kuwait's Ambassador to Egypt Salem Al-Zamanan on Tuesday submitted his credentials to President of Comoros Republic Iklil Zanin as a non-resident envoy.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Zamanan conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to President Zanin.
Al-Zamanan commended the level of good relations between Kuwait and Comoros in all domains, stressing that the two leaderships are keen on strengthening and developing these elations to reach the highest levels to meet the joint interests.
For his part, Present Zanin welcomed Ambassador Al-Zamanan, giving him a message to deliver to His Highness the Amir. Zanin renewed his keenness on strengthening relations between the two countries.
He said that Comoros' people express their gratitude to Kuwait for its constant support and solidarity to improve the standard of living in the republic.
Since Comoros became independent, Kuwait has been the main pillar of supporting the country, Zanin said, referring to the prominent role of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) in his country's economic revitalization.
Kuwait and Comoros have inked four deals in 2008 aimed at strengthening bilateral relations in all domains.
Kuwait's Diplomatic Attachأ© to Egypt Abdulrahman Al-Maboud was present at the ceremony of submitting credentials.
