The Public Authority of Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAFR) is posed to have a comprehensive review of its programs to cope with development programs they were designed for the current fiscal year, Director General Nabila Al-Khalil said Tuesday.
She added that the PAAFR is carrying out with its course to achieve development targets, supporting livestock, plantation and fish wealth as part of the efforts to realize self-sufficiency of food.
The review will reveal any potential shortcomings to be remedied to secure accomplishment of the plan, Al-Khalil said. The authority is now assessing performance of its sectors.
In addition, the PAAFR is following up all livestock, plant and fish breeding centers to make sure they comply with targeted purposes, she said, urging violators to conform to the law to avoid legal prosecution.
