President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika underlined that the Algerian people, forged by the experience and ordeals they went through, were aware of the threats posed to the country and to the region.
The Algerian people "will not hesitate to stand against any attempt to conspire against their unity and their fundamental principles. They will counter any threat to their security and stability, and will continue their steady march towards development through the establishment of bases for a genuine democracy, comprehensive justice and sustainable development," said the Head of State in a message on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Revolution of 1st November 1954.
"Algerian people can be proud that their efforts at both internal and external levels are commensurate with the achievements of November Revolution. They can also be proud of their country's rank among nations, which allowed it to nourish greater ambitions," concluded President Bouteflika.
