Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra said on Sunday that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will brief the Arab foreign ministers on the political steps to establish a viable, independent Palestinian state.
This will occur during a next Arab League meeting, which will be held on September 7 at the pan-Arab body's headquarters in Cairo.
"Algeria will participate in this meeting," Lamamra said after talks with Abbas in Cairo.
Lamamra said his meeting with the Palestinian leader tackled the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, which has been under Israeli attacks since July 8.
