Algeria, key regional, international player

Mexico expressed its gratitude to Algeria as a key regional and international player while underlining the permanent political dialogue and the “close” cooperation between the two countries.
“The different high level visits and meetings show the importance granted by Mexico to the bilateral dialogue and its relations with Algeria. A country recognized by Mexico as being a key regional and international player,” underlined the Mexican Foreign Affairs Ministry in a communiqué released on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations with Algeria.
At the economic level, he said that there is a potential “to increase trading and investment flows,” stressing that “bilateral trade has increased during this last decade.”
The two countries celebrated 50 years of relations established since 21 October 1964, “though the friendship between the two countries exists even before Algeria’s independence,” said the source.
