In celebration of the 46th National Day, Al Bayt Mitwahid Association,ABM, today revealed a brand new community health and fitness park in Ras al-Khaimah which features quality facilities such as a basketball court, gym equipment and a children’s outdoor activity area.

The ABM park, located in Al Dhait South, near Al Bayt Mitwahid’s Majlis, is a family friendly facility where adults and children alike are encouraged to exercise and socialize in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The community park opening was attended by Sheikh Sultan Bin Jamal Al Qassimi, Director of the Department of the citizens at Ras Al Khaimah Royal Court; representatives of government entities in Ras al-Khaimah; members of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, and a group of Al Dhait citizens who all participated in planting trees and plants across the park.

Saif Al Qubaisi, Chairman of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, stated that: "We’re delighted to announce that the park is officially open for the community's use. We at Al Bayt Mitwahid Association are dedicated to providing the members of the community with state-of-the art facilities which will help them maintain a healthy lifestyle".

Al Qubaisi went on to further explain the role that the park will play in the local community by stating: "The ABM park will be accessible to everyone, all year around, allowing all adults and children with the opportunity to exercise, and socialize. The park is more than just a place to workout; it’s a community social-hub for Ras al-Khaimah where individuals and their families can connect with one another".

Al Bayt Mitwahid Association worked alongside the Ras al-Khaimah Municipality to develop the ABM park after listening closely to the community’s feedback. Al Bayt Mitwahid Association have a vast recorded history of operating as an open-platform where individuals can voice their needs, wants and concerns and bring them to life.

Al Bayt Mitwahid Association was launched in 2012, originally as a national campaign by employees of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, to support the continued growth and development of the UAE aligned with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. Operating as a federal organisation since 2014, ABM have established themselves as a national leader in community development, providing the diverse communities of the UAE with an open platform to give back to society. ABM aims to promote and celebrate unity by creating and implementing community development initiatives focused on unity, healthy living, STEM & innovation and supporting social groups.
