Members of the Syrian community in Italy stressed that President Bashar al-Assad’s speech following swearing-in for a new term represents a new stage in Syria that all Syrians aspire to.
In a festivity held in Rome on Friday in presence of Archbishop Hilarion Capucci, Bishop of Jerusalem in Exile, on this occasion, the Syrians said that President al-Assad’s speech constitutes a call for all the Syrians to work for building what the neocolonialism has demolished by its traitorous internal and external terrorist gangs.
They added that the speech outlined the upcoming stage in Syria through the continuity of countering terrorism, uprooting it from Syria and moving ahead in the reconstruction stage to build a modern Syria.
They saluted the spirits of the Syrian civil and military martyrs who sacrificed themselves to defend the homeland, wishing quick recovery for the injured.
