
The head of the Ahrar parliamentary bloc, Dhia al-Asadi said the National Alliance is looking for professional personal enjoys admissibility of the political blocs to the post of the Ministry of the Interior.
He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that "there are no objections to the party that will get the portfolio of the Ministry of Interior according to the elections" in reference to the Badr bloc.
Asadi added that "the components of the National Alliance seeks to choose a professional personal acceptable to the other political blocs for the Ministry of Interior," noting that "the availability of acceptability among the blocs will ensure the resolution of choosing a candidate for the Ministry of Interior within the next few days."
He pointed out that "the Alliance refused to re-nominate the same names that have failed in the voting session last week for the security ministries / Riad Ghraib and Jaber Al Jabri /".
He said "the names put forward for the Ministry of Interior are not all refusal from the National Alliance."
He pointed out that "there are a candidate or two have not been agreed upon within the coalition / did not identify /".
He explained that "the components of the National Alliance objected the mechanism of the nomination of some of the names put forward in the last week."
