
President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa will leave tomorrow Wednesday for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the opening ceremony of the 2014 Gulf Cup of Nations which will kick off on Thursday (November 13) on King Fahd International Stadium.
Shaikh Salman received an official invitation to attend the opening of the championship from Saudi General President for Youth Welfare and Head of the organising committee of the 22nd edition of the tournament Prince Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz.
The AFC President will also attend during his visit to Riyadh the opening of the 4th Sport Investment Forum which will get underway on Thursday (November 13) under the patronage of Prince Abdullah bin Musaed and in the presence of a host of renowned sport figures, including mainly FIFA President Joseph Blatter.
