
Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation among national security agencies in running security operation and managing crises.
The remarks were made by Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled at a high-level security and military meeting held at the Interior Ministry Thursday and attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister, Acting Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah; Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Justice Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah; and National Security Apparatus Chief Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
Also attended the meeting were the top officials and commanders of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior and National Guard.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled stressed, during the meeting, the need for increasing cooperation among the army, police and National Guard during that critical and sensitive time, said a press statement by the Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry.
The statement noted that Sheikh Sabah also gave the attendees a number of instructions to enhance precautionary measures taken to ensure the state's security and people's safety.
The participants also discussed security situation and means to deal with any future challenges or threats.
He also reviewed the latest regional security and political developments.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled also conveyed to the attendees the greetings and appreciations of the political leadership to security, military and National Guard personnel and leaders for their great readiness to secure the state security and stability.
He also conveyed to them the political leadership congratulations on the advent of Eid Al-Adha.
