The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi has launched the "We Care because you are Valuable" initiative.
This initiative coincides with the Cabinet’s resolution No. 22 for the year 2014 regarding the organisation and development of the services at the MoI’s Naturalisation, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector and the Ministerial Decision No. 377 for the year 2014, which amended the applicable regulations on foreigners’ entry and residence.
To ensure the proper implementation of the new scheme, the Directorate General formed a number of task forces to help overcome any potential obstacles that customers may face regarding the new decisions.
The task force chaired by Colonel Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director-General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, with membership of heads of department and chiefs of sections; discussed the new visa entry permits structure introduced by virtue of the above-mentioned Cabinet resolution.
The task force also visited the printing offices in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, to assess their readiness to implement the new resolution and acquaint their staff with the new regulations and fees. The team members stressed the importance of observing and implementing the new amendments, and thoroughly checking customers’ personal information after printing the application forms.
Colonel Al Zaabi noted that the ministerial resolution, which amended the applicable regulations on foreigners’ entry and residence, is in pursuance with the Government's vision 2021. He said that the new decisions take into account the quality and efficiency of the Federal Government services, according to customers’ expectations, which increase with every achievement attained by the U.A.E. in all aspects of life.
