8 Takfiris killed, 7 suspects arrested in Sinai
The Armed Forces started the new security plan approved recently by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to confront terrorism in North Sinai. The campaign resulted in the killing of eight Takfiris, the arrest of seven suspects and the destruction of three ammunition depots. Sources said one of those killed took part in the attack on the camp on Friday which led to the killing of many soldiers. Soldiers from the Second and Third Field Armies and the police tightened up security measures in Arish, Sheikh Zowayed and nearby desert areas and carried out combing operations in search of more militants.
