Up to 7,000 Palestinians are held captive in Israeli jails, according to a report issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Captives and Released Prisoners Affairs.
The report indicated that the figure could increase on the backdrop of daily campaigns of detentions by the Israeli forces against Palestinians.
It added that up to 477 of those prisoners are serving lifetime terms in Israeli jails. Also, up to 250 children are among the prisoners, added the report.
