
Kuwaiti Army's General Staff announced on Saturday that a second batch of 700 volunteers of Kuwaiti mothers will be admitted to the army this September after the success of the first batch.
The volunteers are sons of Kuwaiti mothers, martyrs and other groups meet the conditions of joining the service, the Ministry's Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations noted in a statement.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah issued instructions to the competent authorities in the General Staff to speed up the enrollment of those volunteers after considering their security status. Sheikh Khaled stressed giving priority for admission of martyrs' sons in tribute to the martyrs, who defended the soil of our dear homeland and to complete the role of their fathers, according to the statement.
The statement pointed out that the graduates will join all sectors of the army according to the needs.
