
Security bodies arrested on Tuesday seven defendants in a wide-scale clampdown in Minya.
The seven arrestees face charges of storming police and public facilities after the dispersal of the pro-MB Rabaa Adawiya sit-in, breaching the protests law and inciting violence.
Five firearms, a bird-hunt rifle and two cold steels have also been seized in the campaign
A large amount of drugs and 105 plateless motorbikes were seized in the crackdown as well.
The necessary legal procedures were taken and the prosecution was informed to launch an investigation.
