As many as 517 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Marsa Matrouh Security chief Mokhtar el Senbary.

Out of all the returnees, 456 Egyptians left the country legally and 61 illegally, he noted in statements on Wednesday.

Travel procedures for 599 people, including 281 Egyptians and 318 Libyans, have been finalized, Senbary added.

As many as 116 empty trucks arrived via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours to be loaded with Egyptian commodities.
