
Fayyoum Prosecution decided Saturday to hold in custody 34 supporters of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group for 15 days pending investigation.
They are accused of breaching protest law, inciting violence, attacking public properties during demonstrations organized by the MB on Thursday and Friday in the anniversary of Rabaa el-Adwiya and el-Nahda sit-ins dispersal.
Weapons and fireworks were found on the perpetrators.
They used the weapons in attacking security forces and citizens.
An explosive charge was found in el-Nwiri area and sappers managed to defuse it.
