As many as 30 ambulances were sent to the vicinity of el-Sayed el-Badawi shrine in the Nile Delta city of Tanta, the city's head of ambulance facility Magdi Awad said Thursday.
Meantime, undersecretary of the Health Ministry in Gharbiya Mohamed Sharshar said 10 mobile clinics were deployed around the shrine to provide medical aid to any patient during the final celebrations of el-Sayed el-Badawi's Mouled (birthday).
Eleven people have been wounded when two home-made explosive devices went off near the shrine in Gharbiya province.
A security source at the Ministry of Interior said in statements to MENA the blasts smashed the glass of some shops in the area, pointing out that a third explosive charge was deactivated.
