
At least ten people were killed and wounded Wednesday when a booby trapped car went off close to the industrial zone south of Baquba, Diyala province, about 55 km east Baghdad, a security source said.The explosives-laden car was parked in the industrial district of Bani Saad in south Baquba city and its explosion left three people killed and seven others wounded, the source said.A security force cordoned off the scene, and ambulances rushed the injured to hospital for treatment and moved the dead to the forensic department, added the security source. Diyala province frequently witnesses violent acts targeting security personnel and civilians, as well as the displacement of people from their homes.
