
Three fishermen were rescued by Algerian Naval Forces in the west of Ras El Hamra (province of Annaba), the ministry of Defence said Sunday in a statement.
"Units of search and rescue of the Algerian Naval Forces under the 5th Military Region, managed during the end of last week to rescue three (03) fishermen who were aboard of a fishing boat experiencing difficult navigation conditions, at three (03) nautical miles west of Ras El Hamra (Annaba)," the same source said.
"The rescue operation was launched after the localization of the place of the boat, which was towed to the port of Annaba," the statement said, assuring that "the three fishermen are safe."
