A Kuwaiti student, aged 22, died after a quarrel that occurred in a suburban district of the Jordanian capital early on Wednesday, the Kuwaiti Embassy said on Thursday.
The embassy said it had opted to abstain from early revelation of news about the tragic incident, pending further clarifications and notification of next of kin.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased had been involved in a fistfight and suffered some bruises that warranted hospitalization, however he passed away after being admitted at a hospital.
Relatives, according to the embassy statement, stated that he had suffered from anemia, with a medical report at a hospital in Amman.
