Two Takfiri elements have been killed in North Sinai and 61 others arrested in four governorates, the army announced.
During an army clampdown against terrorism over the past three days (November 17-19), the army eliminated two terrorists following a fire exchange in North Sinai, military spokesman Colonel Mohamed Samir said.
Also, 61 terrorists were arrested in North Sinai, Ismailia, Dakahlia and Port Said during the campaign, the spokesman said, adding that seven unlicensed vehicles and 23 motorbikes were seized in North Sinai.
Twelve terror HQs were destroyed, and two wireless devices, three explosive circuits and an air gun were also seized in North Sinai, Samir said.
A 50-kg remote-controlled bomb was dismantled in the city, he added.
