Two protests supporting the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group were dispersed in Giza province on Saturday, a security source told MENA.
Some supporters of the MB along with 6th April Movement staged two protests in Tahrir and Faysal streets, blocking the roads and causing traffic congestion, Assistant Interior Minister for information and Public Relation Abdel Fattah Allam said.
Security forces dispersed the two demos and heavily deployed in streets and squares to come between staging any potential demonstrations by MB or the 6th April Movement.
In December, an Egyptian court ruled the Muslim Brotherhood was a terrorist organization, blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide.
