
Two terrorists were killed by the combined forces of the People’s National Army (ANP) Tuesday, at 9:00 pm, in the commune of Ouled Riah, in the sub-province of Hennaya (Tlemcen, 450 km west of Algiers), said, Wednesday the National Defence ministry in a communiqué.
“A detachment of the Army’s combined forces of the People’s National under the operational sector of Tlemcen, second military district, eliminated, as part of the fight against terrorism and following a tip-off, two terrorists Tuesday (August 12) at 9:00 pm in the commune of Ouled Riah, sub-province of Hennaya,” according to the communiqué.
“At the end of this operation, two automatic rifles of Kalashnikov type and a quantity of ammunitions were recovered,” added the source.
