
Two people were killed and twenty others injured during violent clashes, Friday evening in Touggourt (Ouargla), between protestors and police forces, said Saturday sources from the province of Ouargla.
These incidents took place following the protests of the inhabitants of d’Raa El Baroud in the commune of Nezla, against the “delay in the distribution of land plots for construction and connection to drinking water,” according to the source.
The events, which killed two people among the protestors as well as some injured including elements of the police forces, according to a source from Slimane Amirat hospital of Touggourt, took place on the outskirts of the city of Touggourt.
