Two people died and 18 others were wounded on Tuesday in a road accident in the region of Sebaa Ayoune near the city of Meknes, local authorities said.
The accident, which took place at around 8:30 a.m. (GMT+1) on the national road 6 linking Oujda to Salé, occurred when a car collided with a bus on the opposite direction, added the same source, noting that loss of control of the car was likely behind this tragedy.
One person died immediately after the crash while the other victim succumbed to his serious injuries in the Mohammed V Hospital in Meknes.
All the wounded have left the hospital after receiving the necessary care, said Dr Souad El Ayadi, from the emergency department of the hospital.
