Eight Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in the early hours of Tuesday and another 15 were injured when Israeli bombing targeted an inhabited house in Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Some people were seriously injured and were taken to Shifa Hospital, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, adding that search is underway for missing people under the rubble.
In a similar incident, further eight Palestinians of the same family were killed as their three-story house was targeted by an Israeli raid in Rafah, southern Gaza.
The shelling completely demolished the house and caused partial damage to the surrounding buildings.
Additionally, a number of Palestinians were wounded as Israeli jets hit near an UNRWA school that shelters displaced civilians from Shajaiya neighborhood.
