Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) Sunday documented the death of 1,153 people since the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) started its attack on Ein Al-Arab (Kobane) on Semptember 23.
The ISIL killed 27 Kurdish civilians, 397 militants of the People's Protection Units (YPG) and Al-Asayesh units through bombardment or clashes in Ein Al-Arab and its surroundings, it added.
SOHR pointed out that 712 ISIL fighters were killed during clashes against YPG and Al-Asayesh, and 23 of them blew themselves up in different areas, while 27 fighters supporting YPG were killed.
SOHR believes that the real numbers of casualties in Syria are higher than figures above due to media secrecy on casualties in the ISIL.
