Egyptian Front Secretary-General Amin Rady said that the number of people who have applied to run for the parliamentary elections under the Front through the one-man-one-seat system has reached 1,100.
In statements on Monday, Rady said that the front will review on Wednesday its candidates in four different governorates, adding that five parties including National Progressive Unionist, Modern Egypt, Democratic Generation and Conference have submitted their documents to run for the parliamentary elections under the Front.
All parties have submitted their candidates to the front except for three parties, pointing out that the names of the candidates who will run for the parliamentary elections under the Front through the state system will be set on Thursday, Rady further said.
In the meantime, Rady asserted that Egypt is witnessing a delicate phase in which all Egyptians have to support the president and armed and police forces in their efforts to eliminate terrorism.
