
At least 10 soldiers were killed on Wednesday in an attack by Al-Qaeda-linked militants in southwest Yemen, a security source said.
Gunmen belonging to Al-Qaeda-linked Anasar Al-Shari'a Group launched separate attacks on several civilian and military facilities in Baida Province in southwest Yemen, the source said.
Meanwhile, security forces have thwarted multiple attacks on several military and government installations in Baida governorate, a security official said on Wednesday.
Armed attackers of Al-Qaeda carried out multiple attacks against several military and government installations, using car bombs followed by violent clashes between the attackers and security troops, it added.
