10 ISIL militants killed in Kobane as coalition strike 4 targets

 Some 10 militants belonging to the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL) jihadist group have been killed in the Syrian city of Ain Al-Arab, or Kobane, as the international coalition struck four of the group's targets, reports said on Friday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, quoting what it deemed were credible sources, said that five explosions heard in the city earlier in the day resulted from aerial bombardment by the US-Arab coalition of four ISIL targets.
The reports added however that no human casualties have been yet reported.
Meanwhile, some 10 ISIL fighters are reported to have been killed in an ambush set by Syrian Kurd fighters, known as the People's Protection Units in the majority Kurd city of Kobane, as clashes continue between the two sides.
ISIL fighters are said to be camouflaging in PPU colours and uniforms in a bid to escape coalition bombardment as they also aim to penetrate Kurd areas in the city, the sources have also revealed.
Separately, on the scale of government-opposition fighting, some 28 people died in the southwestern city of Daraa amid clashes, while 20 more killed in a nearby village due to government shelling.
